DANCERS

okay okay...i know, I'm sooo bad at this whole blogging thing. But theres really not a whole lot going on...however, with the end of the year (dance year that is) rapidly approaching my life seems to be picking up...here are a few updates on my lives (my dancers) :)
my three year olds...are...HILARIOUS. They seem to be infatuated with "peeking" into my office at the studio...because they are all rebels and they feel like theyre doing something they shouldnt be...however most days in class look something like this:

Favorite Moment: Rachel runs into my office... i say "rachel, get out of there you know your not supposed to be in there..." she ever so kindly informs me that she needed to "toot"...well thank you rachel...right in my office... :) lol love these girls.
My five and six year olds...well we've had our ups and downs...most days they are practically perfect...for 5&6 year olds...but they have theyre moments as well... ;) One of them, Makayla moves like a rubber band i swear she can do splits from one end of the room to the other...it amazes me...the other two give me constant updates on their "new babies"...(siblings) its a constant story time but i LOVE it... here some of them are:

My Princesses and the Frogs....they are somethin else...they are 9 years old...and boy are they special...every week someone else is injured...i swear these two must think they are the ninja turtles...we have skint up knees, faces, elbos, broken wrists, blisters, broken fingers...i mean you name it they've had it...but no worries...they have assured me that they will be at recital...and Abbigail was kind enough to get a cast that matches her costume. :)

Now for my pre-teen girls...these girls were answers to many prayers...this class started out with one girl here one girl there two girls in this class...blah blah blah and so on...as of today...i have FIVE girls in EACH class! ...& i cant help but love them. ;)

Last but certainly not least...my two teen girls...these girls are my world...and not to mention they are HILARIOUS...(and we all get along perfect since they still switch boyfriends every week) :)

dance, dance, dance, little lady

Well hello blogspot...its been ages! :) Ok soo most of you know I recently opened a dance studio in the small town of Live Oak called blush...serving dancers of all ages! ;) It was a very spur of the moment decision and everything went down rapidly my head is still spinning!! & I just wanted to share a little about how my first week...well day went. :)

Being completly INSANE isnt exactly the best character trait to have when your making a schedule...I found that out the hard way when i scheduled my three year olds as my very first class... :) moms start pouring in delivering their children at 2:15...this class is an hour long...combining tap and ballet...so im basically their babysitter for an hour...to SEVEN three year olds...talk about a challenge...

FIRST...I cant seem to convince two of them to stop WAILING....i mean these girls are severely close to creating that scene in Alice and Wonderland when she cries so much she has to get into the bottle and float through the lock...except we didnt have bottles...or any type of floating device whatsoever for that matter...

So i move on to the other five...two of which are bouncing off the walls and when they arent, theyre staring at themselves in the mirror...its amazing what a large mirror can make a three year old do...i mean i thought i was bad...these girls cant contain their excitement...not to mention they are the two most B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L three year olds ive ever seen...i reckon if i looked like them id stare to...

soo if ur counting that leaves me three to work with...and they just want to run in and out of the curtain to chat with their mommies...because i cant change activities enough to suit all of them...i mean if u think of how many activities you have to have in an hour to suit seven three year olds...i guarantee you, you cant come up with enough...i felt oddly like i was dealing with a herd of (insert wildest animal you can conjure up)...it was insane. Then comes the bright idea to "go across the floor" yeah...nooottt soo bright. Remember the girls from wonderland? well they cant see through their tears long enough to see which direction they are headed....and thats exactly what happened...they head butt each other...hard...and now is when we would all be dawning life presevers except we dont have them...it was a mess....by 3:15 i think i looked like debra messing in "the wedding date" when she wakes up on the plane in front of her incredibly hott date nick mercer...& if its not how i looked...it was certainly how i felt...

Lucky for me the next week of classes ran much more smoothly and i couldnt help but laugh out loud when one of my ten year olds informed that at school a mean boy called her a marshmallow. :) bet u can all figure out why. ;)

Keeping Up.

Dear fellow blog readers ;)

hows it goin?

its been awhile since Ive written about whats goin on in my life sooo...this may be a long one...you may wanna take this time to retrieve a snack. :)

As you all may know my history of boyfriends is a little rocky. There have been many...but few who have proven to be worth my time. I say few because I would like to give the ones who didnt turn out to be complete psycho's a little credit.

My most recent relationship ended three days shy of three months...and now I get to read daily posts on facebook by him saying things like "Back in the game of being single." & "Yeah, Ive still got it, its so easy."....ummm really? i mean really. First of all I'd like to clarify that I did the breaking...and seriously it took like a week. And i had no intention of harboring ill feelings towards Mr. Ive still got it...but seriously..surely you havent "lost it" in three months & even if you had...why not be out there ravamping your "it" whatever that even is...instead of posting about it on facebook...As if we don't all know why your doing it...

The second matter id like to discuss is my sweeeeeet little bianka! :)

Last thursday morning, May 7th I dropped Bianka off at Companion Animal Hospital, much to her dismay, to be spayed. I worried about her all night long & when I picked her up on Friday morning she was in an extremely foul mood but ecstatic to see her mooommmy. :) After one week of being drugged up and mopey, My sweet girl is finally back up to par and will have her stitches removed one week from today...

Thirdly...back to boys :). I have made an executive decision when it comes to my love life...from now on it is a requirement for Patrick Jernigan & Cody Deese to take whomever is texting, calling, visiting, facebooking, or myspacing me trying to go on a date..out and make sure they arent absoloutly Crazy! Ive decided that my judge of character is completely lacking of all the important things...it really only consists of two categories: Are they Hott? &...ok one category...so heres a list of ten things i consider important...OH! and im currently accepting applications. :)

1. Hott...ok so i know that was on my current list..but i still feel that its important...i need a looker.

2. Tall...(still kinda shallow...but in my defense i like to wear heels...im not extremely tall so im willing to accept: significantly taller than me)

3. Resepectful. (none of this calling me a liar and accusing me of cheating business...Mr. ive still got it tried that and he now spends all his time posting retarded statuses on facebook)

4. Id like him to understand that his pants go OVER his but...they do not sit below it...and i do not want to see all of his boxer shorts bursting out above his jeans.

5. I prefer someone who can go at least 120 hours without dropping the f bomb...its not attractive..im just sayin.

6. Funny. I like to laugh.

7. Someone who doesnt get extremely embarrassed in public. (if this guys gonna hang out with my family...hes gonna have to suffer a litle public humiliation...we're practically the Kardashians.)

8. Mr. Right is gonna need to have a job...a real job..a fullfilling job...I want to be supported...i do not want to be the Supporter....probably because if im the supporter theres a good chance we will either die or live in poverty...

9. Trustworthy. I hate a cheater.

10. Now I know number ten is last...but it is certainly NOT least...in fact i put it last so it would be fresh in your mind when you quit reading my blog and set out to find me a man ;) so back to it...Number 10: My man has to be a Christian...he has to go to church with me, go to church functions, and most importantly he has to like it.

Now ladies...lets get down to business...oh and btw...Johnny P. Is already out of the running january and jen.

Bettina the Ballerina

Hey guys. :) You all made this blogging thing look so much fun I decided to join myself...that way beth and Jen don't get tooo close without me. ;) lol just kiddin..kinda.

Anyhow...for my first post Im just gonna tell about the fascinating title of my dear blog. "Bettina the Ballerina", just saying the name makes me wanna get up and dance...but my fellow coworkers at touchtons may find that a little strange...If you've never heard the story of Bettina, I assure you, you are missing out on an amazing life lesson...without this book my childhood would not have been the same.

I remember requesting to my lovely older sisters and mother that this book be read to be on a daily basis...the story is about a very clumsy young girl who dreams of being a ballet dancer...but of course as the clumsiest in her class, the teacher chooses another student to dance the main part in their big recital...well when the dancer comes down with the chicken pox, guess what studious dancer gets the part? Thats right! Bettina!! :)

So what lessons do we learn from Bettina? That being clumsy doesnt stop you from acheiving your dreams...and when you have the chicken pox and a big recital is coming up..you ALWAYS rub up against the better dancer ;)
